Diamond abrasive paste is a kind of soft abrasive made of diamond micropowder abrasive and paste bond, also known as loose abrasive. It is used for grinding hard and brittle materials to obtain a high surface finish.
The characteristic of grinding is that the abrasive is constantly rolling during the grinding process, which produces two effects of extrusion and cutting, so that the convex and concave surfaces gradually become smoother. The bonding agent of the grinding paste is divided into oily and water-soluble. For example, in the PCB circuit board industry, in the process of metallography, a certain fineness of grinding paste (0.3um) is added to the sampling and grinding, so that the cross-section of the sample for observation after inlaying can more clearly reach the test standard under the microscope.
